The Saugerties Times endorsements for Saugerties Town
Board
"Here's
why we support Marino and Gallagher: Joe Marino is an
under-appreciated, so far under-utilized hometown resource.
He would try to establish financial accountability and
keep taxes low, in addition to trying to eliminate conflicts
of interest.
Gallagher
is a virtual one-woman maelstrom of activity who, if
elected, would surely focus her considerable energies
on managing the inevitable growth of Saugerties in a
way that would least impact the quality of life for
all residents. . . . she is, contrary to popular belief,
a truly first-generation Saugertiesian, as if that really
matters. This extremely competent individual merely
had the audacity to leave Saugerties temporarily to
attend college before returning to her roots.
Again, we endorse Joe Marino and March Gallagher for
town council, and let the chips fall where they may." |
