I have been fortunate to know Joe Marino for the last ten years. I have always found him to be honest, trustworthy and a man of the utmost integrity. Through the years, Joe has demonstrated to me a strong family relationship and the strength of character, and purpose that is unmatched. Joe is a man of faith - a dedicated family man - and a believer in doing what is right, no matter what the consequences. I've known Joseph Marino for over 40 years and can vouch for his honesty, integrity and effectiveness. My family and I have followed his career from high school to attaining a bachelor's degree in mathematics, and to receiving highly esteemed combat medals in Viet Nam.This training prepared him for positions of serious fiscal responsibilities with Metropolitan Life and IBM.

It is primarily because of this experience in the business world that he will be a much, needed addition to the town board. I feel most strongly that the intricacies of day-to-day fiscal details have been neglected for quite a few years. We need a more definitive awareness of these financial particulars.

Joe Marino would make an excellent town board member. I served with Joe on the planning board. He helped keep us focused and always showed his concern for protecting the Saugerties environment and planning with care for the future of the town.
